Tropical Bday Card

Started out trying to make a quilt card. Didn't turn out like I thought but I like the new direction that I went with the card. I made this by using the alchohol on cotton balls with a few drops of reinkers. Used sunny yellow (I think that is what it was called) and played with other colors until I came up with a pattern I liked. Dragged the cotton balls across glossy white card stock/picture paper. It is very tropical. Was kind of nice to do something like this, especially with as cold as it has been. My youngest helped witht this project.

Stampin with Ms. Julia

Just wanted to share this cool project Julia taught me this weekend. I am going to turn it into Mother's Day gifts. Thanks Julia.

Valentine's Card 2

Made this for our three year old niece. This was fun to make, decoupaged the hearts (paper to plastic) and then just kept adding and adding more stuff. Just having fun!!

Valentine's Card

Made this for the kids grandparents. Really trying to give the cards layers and depth. Valentine's is one of those holidays where you can just be fun with the cards.
