First Communion Thank You Card

Learned this process at Mrs. Julia's last stamp camp. We did this in copper at stamp camp. This is my own creation and used a Cuttlebug to emboss the white and then added silver to the raised embossing area. This is for our neighbors as a thank you for their much to generous First Communion gift. I really enjoyed this card. I think it would work well for a wedding too.

Baby Card

Getting back in the swing of things with Stamping again. I made this for my March Card swap. Sorry about the sideways posting. I have been so busry with kids, house, work. I haven't had time to play at one of my passions.

Tropical Bday Card

Started out trying to make a quilt card. Didn't turn out like I thought but I like the new direction that I went with the card. I made this by using the alchohol on cotton balls with a few drops of reinkers. Used sunny yellow (I think that is what it was called) and played with other colors until I came up with a pattern I liked. Dragged the cotton balls across glossy white card stock/picture paper. It is very tropical. Was kind of nice to do something like this, especially with as cold as it has been. My youngest helped witht this project.

Stampin with Ms. Julia

Just wanted to share this cool project Julia taught me this weekend. I am going to turn it into Mother's Day gifts. Thanks Julia.

Valentine's Card 2

Made this for our three year old niece. This was fun to make, decoupaged the hearts (paper to plastic) and then just kept adding and adding more stuff. Just having fun!!

Valentine's Card

Made this for the kids grandparents. Really trying to give the cards layers and depth. Valentine's is one of those holidays where you can just be fun with the cards.

Updated Thankyou card. I didn't like the first one so I changed the ribbon to yarn and added a little embellishment.

Sunday, January 28, 2007

This card is a reproduction of the Stampin Up Catalog card (18C). The only change I made is I added the brads/embellishments at the bottom by the phrase. I felt that the bottom of the card was empty when the top had so much going on with it. I would give this card to someone who is graduating, or needs some word of encouragement.

Stamp Camp No. 3 project. I am going to get this Stamp. Easy, quick and fun project. Thanks again Julia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today's Stamp Camp Project No. 2! Way cute. Can't wait to make this and give to some teachers.

Kudo's to Julia for coming up with this idea.

My good friend and Stamp Queen Julia made this for all the members of our stamp camp. It is a calendar. She also coordinated it with my purse. How cool is that.

My first mirror image card. Got this idea from Split Coast Stampers. It is one of my favorite projects. Thanks for looking.
